Donated Rs 50,000 as Flood Relief fund

We donated Rupees 50,000 ($1080) on Oct 7th to Yalamanchili Ravi garu to help him with his flood relief activities. I came to know that he is spending minimum 1.5 lakhs per day just for providing 3 meals daily to the people in affected areas of Krishna district. I got this news from reliable sources. Most of us know Ravi garu personally too. He is a good man. I believe that our donation is purely being used for good cause.

Vijayawada FLOOD RELIEF

Hello Friends,

As you all know Andra Pradesh is badly affected by worst floods ever. I am watching TV9 and I see lot of people around Vijayawada being shelter less with no water, no food and no clothes. Some people are even scared of snakes floating around in flood water.

Yalamanchili Ravi garu is carrying flood relief activities in a large scale around Vijayawada area. I am planning to donate $300 out of our already raised amount to Ravi garu (even though our aim is to concentrate on education for poor). Thanks to all who already donated.
